New School BBQ University
Come work directly with our pitmasters for a full weekend along with barbecue fans and cooks from across the country. New School BBQ University is our comprehensive barbecue class for beginners all the way up to current professionals in the industry. Network with bbq fans and pitmasters, observe panel discussions featuring local BBQ talent, feast on special meals provided by L&L, and deeply increase your barbecue knowledge and experience! Our next class is being held September 22-24 2023

Curriculum includes brisket (and the unique foil boat wrap method), beef cheeks, barbacoa, whole hog, sausage, cauliflower burnt ends, our famous smoked and seared burger, and more! The classes take place outside at Cosmic Coffee + Beer. All meals will be provided from Friday evening through Sunday mid-day. We will have a limited amount of drink tickets per student for use at Cosmic Coffee. Please fill out the form below to be added to our email list.
